With summer dwelling her in Australia, I thought it would be the perfect time to do a post on my tips for achieving that healthy summer glow. Doing simple things each day can give your skin such a nice look, and I think summer is the perfect time to enhance your natural glow.
So here are my top tips for getting your glow on!

Water Water Water
This is so important, water is a necessity and it can really change how our skin is. Staying hydrated has a lot of health benefits for you skin and by simply sipping a few extra sips of water you could be working magic for your skin. I find keeping a water bottle with me at all times really encourages me to drink more, little sips go a long way. Also, if water is to 'plain' or 'boring' try spicing it up with some fruit infused water, I have a whole blog post about it here. Also, a healthy diet goes hand in hand, and you can check out some awesome recipes here at Aloha.

Finding a good highlighter is magical - it gives your skin a subtle sheen and helps to accentuate your cheek bones. Not to mention is also does wonders for giving you a healthy glow. My favourite highlighter would have to be the Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten. Despite it being an eyeshadow it works amazingly. You can read a review here.

Tanning is a great way to help your skin give off that summer glow. Being slightly more tanned in summer is a great look, and lying in the sun has numerous benefits for your body. Firstly, Vitamin D is a great source of Dopamine (the chemical in your brain making you feel happy). But just remember to be sun safe and apply sunscreen regularly!

So those are my tips for achieving a summer glow!
A special thanks to the folks at Aloha for giving me inspiration to do this post.

I recently got to collaborate with the beautiful little store, Boutique of Molly. You can visit their website hereThey are a boutique based in the UK however they ship worldwide for free, yes that's right, free!! It was a tough choice but I decided to choose this Lace Up Black Playsuit as I thought it was unique - I hadn't ever seen one before. The shipping took about a week, which is extremely fast for overseas shipping! It also came in an adorable pink package, which when it arrived, I knew exactly what it was.
This playsuit can easily be dressed up or down, depending on how you wish to wear it. I decided to make the outfit quite simple, pairing it with some black flatforms and a nice watch which complimented the gold details.

Here are the outfit links:

This video is finally here! It's my entire shoe collection!
Hope you enjoy x

Recently I have been loving smoothie bowls. After seeing them nearly everywhere I decided it was about time I make one of my own.

For those of you who don't know, smoothie bowls are thick consistency and are a healthy version of ice cream/frozen yogurt. They are super easy to make and are perfect for a good start to the day. They are full of fruit and can also be accompanied by Acai Powder, or other powders.

I have been making them by following this simple recipe:

1. Place 1 and a half bananas in the freezer overnight
2. Put the banana into a blender, along with 3 large strawberries and a tablespoon of Acai Powder (you can get it at any pharmacy or health store, e.g. Priceline)
3. Blend until thick, ice cream like constancy
4. Pour into a bowl and top with the other half of the banana, some more strawberries and optional muesli.

And thats all! They are so healthy but so yummy at the same time.
Have you tried a smoothie bowl before?

Layered Necklaces are the perfect way to spice up any outfit. They add an instant bohemian vibe and make any outfit look like you've spent time planning it out.
This one, I got from Forever 21 and it has three layers, a green gem, and two silver pieces.
I paired this necklace with a simple white Cami from Topshop and I personally think it looks great. It makes the outfit look a lot more complete.

Have you tried pairing simple outfits with layered necklaces?

Today I have a review of the Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten.
I've been on the hunt for a good highlighter for quite some time now, and when I popped into Mecca Maxima, two sales assistances recommended this eyeshadow to me. At first I was apprehensive
because it was an eyeshadow but I was surprised!

This is a gorgeous, soft champagne colour and, when applied with my Real Techniques fan brush, glides onto the skin perfectly.
It offers a natural but also defined highlight, as you can see in the image below:

This highlighter will look good on most skin types, and definitely has variety as it can also be used as an eyeshadow. The pigmentation is amazing in this product, and a little bit goes a long way.
Also since this is a single eyeshadow it is a lot more affordable than other high end highlighters.

Have you ever used an eyeshadow as a highlighter?

If you have noticed, recently everything lace up has been a massive trend. I was looking all over for the perfect lace up top, and I finally found it from City Beach.
This top is a gorgeous white cami with a criss cross lace up detail in the front. It is slightly longer at the back, making it perfect to wear either tucked in or left out, like I have done in this look.
I also have been on the hunt for some 'flatform' shoes, and I found the PERFECT pair from Famous Footwear.

All my outfit details are listen below:

I was in Sportsgirl the other day, and saw this beautiful case, so of course I had to get it.
It is a silicon/rubber case that is durable and is clear apart from a lace / mandala design. This case screams Spring, and with Australia already warming up, I can't wait to use it. This case was only $12.95 and is super affordable for something as pretty as this.
I have a silver iPhone 6, and this case compliments it beautifully. I think with a gold iPhone, it would look even better as the contrast between the white and gold would be stunning.

You can purchase this case at your local Sportsgirl.

A new video is up!! It's my September Favourites!
Don't forget to leave a like and a comment :)
Recently Maybelline had a 3 for 2 deal at Priceline. I had to jump in and take part, so I decided to pick up 3 things I have been wanting to try for quite some time. I won't do a full review on each product, as I am yet to fully test them, however I will do a quick first impressions.

Master Sculpt Contour and Highlight Duo
I got this in the shade light, as I have a fairly pale complexion. The texture is smooth and soft and I am looking forward to using this to add some depth to my face. The highlighting shade is also beautiful, and I have heard many people talk highly of this product. It is great for travel, as it offers both a bronzer and a highlighter in one packaging.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
Another famous product I hadn't yet tried out - so of course I had to pick it up! It's extremely black, and also water proof which I like.

Maybelline Brow Drama
I got the shade Medium Brown, which I personally think is perfect for my eyebrows. The brush it quite weird, and I'm not sure if I like it. Also the product is sparse, and I definitely prefer my L'oreal Brow Artist Plumper.

So that is all for this quick Maybelline Haul! Have you made any recent Maybelline purchases?
