Gabrielle Aplin is a British singer/songwriter who writes simply amazing songs. Her voice is extremely angelic and her album “English Rain” is something I listen to on repeat. Some of you may have recognised her from her song ‘The Power of Love’ that recently made it onto the iTunes top 100. Here songs are beautiful and her voices matches; she is defiantly someone who is going to make it big. She’s my favourite artist this month and will definitely be featured in my October favourites.

Infused waters are definitely on trend at the moment, and are the perfect drinks for the up coming warmer months. Infused water gets rid of all the toxins in your body and also can increase your metabolism. It's a great way to make water a little more interesting. Here are my top 5 infused water drinks.

#1: Cucumber, Lemon and Mint
The lemon helps clear the digestive tract and cleanses you, the mint adds a nice fresh taste while the cucumber detoxes you body.

#2: Raspberry and Strawberry
This red-infused water is full of antioxidants while the taste is amazing

#3: Blueberry and Orange
This perfect combo has the detox properties of the citrius and the antioxidant properties from the blueberries.

#4: Raspberry, Mint and Lime
This is another great combination with the vitamin-invested raspberries, tasty mint and detox benefits.

#5: Melon and Mint
Melons have many antioxidant properties as well as providing you with heaps of good nutrients.

As you may of seen from my instagram I recently brought a pair of Windsor Smith shoes from General Pants Co. This is my first pair of Windsor Smith's and I was extremely excited when they were delivered in the post. I first went looking at the mall for them however there weren't any in my size. The sales assistant in the shop said if we purchased them in-store, we could have them delivered for free in express shipping. The shoes arrived two days after being sent and I was impressed with the speed they were delivered in.
Here's a few pics of my new shoes:

These shoes summarise the upcoming across the toe-strap trend for shoes. This is the newest trend and can be seen spotted everywhere. You can wear them with just about anything. Soon on my blog there will be an Outfit of the Day featuring the shoes, so stay tuned!

Organisation is something that is my new years resolution every year, and by about this time, I can't even remember making the resolution.Whether you're at school, collage or at home, you could definitely benefit from these simple ideas.

Tip #1: Using an Calendar
I brought this desk calendar from Kikki K. You can use an online calendar, a diary, or desk planner like myself. I think a calendar of some sort is vital to stay organised. Colour coding your activities and school work is definitely beneficial. It makes you know exactly what you have on and what type of activity it is.

Tip #2: Using the Calendar App
If you're an Apple user you will definitely benefit from this step. Use the calendar app to help you on the go. Every week I sit down and sync my calendar app with my desk calendar to keep me up to date on what I need to do. You can set reminders and alerts to keep you on track.

Tip #3: Digital Filing
I find it easiest to keep organise if my computer is 'clean.' To keep your computer 'clean' I would recommend making folders for each of your subjects and keeping each subject different so that all the work for that class is one folder.

Tip #4 Note-taking
If you're at school or college and are required to note-take, then this might be helpful for you. Get one big notepad with easy removable pages and bring a binder to school. After you've written your notes on the notepad, rip of the page and place it in the binder in the right subject section. When you get home, you can transfer the notes and/or any worksheets into a folder for that subject. This way you don't have to carry a book around for each subject and you can keep all your notes for a subject in one place.

Tip #5 : Photo frame bulletin board
I'm sure we all have a photo frame that's photo-less and lonely somewhere in our homes. If this is the case, you can transform your old photo frame into a Bulletin Board. Print out a nice background, put it in to the photo frame and stick sticky notes on the glass to remind you of important things coming up. I didn't have a photo frame so I used this mirror.

Here are some cute backgrounds you can download to go inside your photo frame:

As many of you may (or may not) know, I am currently sitting on the beautiful sunshine coast. It was a very long drive from where we live, and took about 3 and a half hours. On the trip we stopped by a small shop and brought some vitamin water to keep us hydrated for the trip.
Once finally arriving at our self-catering apartments, the Bali Hai Apartments, we got the room keys and went to find our room. Our room is on the second floor however there are no lifts, so we carried out language. Our apartment is very nice, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge, two bathrooms and dining room table (Plus free wifi!).
Because it was a long car trip, I decided to wear a plain T-Shirt from Temt, jeans from Dotti, and some white converse. Very simple and comfy for the trip.
Once we were unpacked, we decided to visit the famous Hastings Street and went for a walk along the beach.
Here are some pics from our first day:

This is the beautiful view from our apartment - amazing!

We went to the famous Underwater World, which was quite amazing. Underwater World is a long drive from Noosa (where we are staying) and took about an hour to get there. It was very busy but other than that the shows and features were fantastic. We decided to go on the Behind The Scene's tour which was definitely worth while. The attractions were inside and outside and we were lucky enough to have suburb weather that was warm and sunny with a cool breeze.
Here are some pictures from our trip:

September has marked the change of seasons and the start of new fashion, new products and new music. My first favourite of the month, of course is Frankie Magazine Issue Sixty One.

First of all lets just start with the cover... how cute is this picture? Inside, the cuteness continues with snapshots of India, little Australian Shops and beautiful photo's. Frankie is my all time favourite magazine and I love the texture of the pages and uniqueness of the magazine.

Next on the agenda is white nail polish.
Many may think white nail polish is a bold statement, and personally, I don't disagree. However this colour has been seen all over Tumblr. It's chic and stylish and definitely a trend this season. It goes with every outfit so you don't have to worry about your nails clashing with your outfit.

Another of my favourites is the Maybelline Colour Baby Lip Balm.
This colour is a nice pinky rose colour and is nice and subtle yet bold. I love the Maybelline baby lips as it leaves your lips feeling moisturised while giving a tint of colour.

Another one of my favourites is the Original Source Soap in Vanilla and Raspberry.
This smells gorgeous and smells like a sweet shop. If you don't like sweet smells, this isn't the soap for you however the flavours do vary. Mint is also another good one for those people who don't like sweet smells. The smell lightly lingers on your body while it also leaves your body moisturised and smooth.

What would a favourites be without something from The Body Shop?
This beautiful, fresh sent is perfect for the upcoming warmer months. This scent is the body shop's vanilla scent and is gorgeous for the spring and summer time.

Hope you enjoyed my favourites! What have your favourites been in the month of september?

Finally I can show you guys my new room! If you click here you can see my blog post about my old room with photo's. I really wanted something more calming, more mature and more ethnic and I think the final product shows exactly that. I am absolutely in love with my new room, here's some pictures!
